About the Basic Plan

Can I have multiple Basic Plans each with different tool combinations?

The Basic Plan allows for only one combination of two tools, no matter how many subscriptions you buy. For example, if you have 3 seats of ARCHICAD you would need to buy 3 Basic Plans which would give each seat access to the same two tools.

Where do I choose the two tools included in my plan?

You will be asked to choose which two tools you want included in your plan as you proceed through the checkout process.

Can I change the tools included in my Basic Plan?

You will need to contact us directly to change the tools in your plan.

TECHNICAL

How do I install the Tools?

Once you sign up for a subscription, you'll receive a link to download the Cadimage Installer. This will install all the Cadimage Tools on your computer. You'll just need to enter any licensing information it requests of you.

What version of ARCHICAD do I need to run the Tools?

You can currently download the Tools for ARCHICAD 18, 19 and 20 via mycadimage.com.

My ARCHICAD license is a NET license - does that affect my Subscription?

Not at all - however you will need to remember:
1. You will need to purchase the correct amount of licenses for the number of staff wanting to access the tools (for example, if you have a NET10 license, and have 6 people wanting to use the tools, you would need to purchase 6 Cadimage Tool subscriptions).
2. You will also need to contact us once you complete the payment process so that we can activate the Tools against the NET license.

What if I need help using the Tools?

Our Standard Subscription does not include technical help, so you might want to consider upgrading to our Premium Subscription. This provides you with unlimited support, as well as a range of exclusive ARCHICAD tips and Objects.

But I want free help!

Don't we all! That's why we've made a bunch of video tutorials that are freely available on YouTube. We also regularly run webinars (keep an eye out in our newsletter and on our Upcoming Webinars page for dates) and, have a bunch of articles in our Knowledge Base too.


MANAGING MY ACCOUNT

Can I edit my account or contact details online?

Our customer portal, mycadimage.com, gives you access to your contact details, order history, newsletter preferences and more. You'll need to login using your username and password which will be sent to you when you sign up to use the tools.

How do I update my credit card details?

That's easy - jump onto mycadimage.com and go to My Account → My Tool Subscriptions.

What happens if I cancel my subscription/s?

Your tools will continue to work until the end of your current billing cycle, and your recurring payments will be stopped. There are no fees or penalties for cancelling a monthly subscription.

How do I cancel a subscription/s?

Head on over to mycadimage.com and choose My Account → Tool Subscriptions. Then choose to Cancel your Subscription.

How do I view my invoices?

Head on over to mycadimage.com and choose My Account → Orders. There, you can view and print all your Cadimage invoices.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Am I locked in to a contract?

Not at all - our monthly subscriptions can be cancelled, upgraded or downgraded at any time, with no penalty fees. The yearly subscription option is a one-year contract which can be cancelled or renewed at the end of every year. For more information read our Terms and Conditions.

How do I add or remove a subscription for an ARCHICAD license?

Head on over to mycadimage.com where you choose My Account → Tool Subscriptions. There you can add/remove licenses from your account.

How does it work for multiple users?

If you have several people in your office who need the tools, you'll need to purchase multiple subscription licenses in the checkout process. So, if you have 6 people who need to access the tools, you will need to buy 6 subscriptions.

What happens when I upgrade to a new version of ARCHICAD?

Nothing! You'll just need to upgrade the tools using the Cadimage Installer, but that's completely FREE!

So future upgrades of the Tools are free?

Yes! That's just one of the benefits of being on a software subscription.

What happens if I cancel my subscription altogether?

If you decide to cancel your subscription, the elements made using the tools within your ARCHICAD project remain in place - however they are 'view and print' only. You won't be able to edit the objects until you start up your subscription again.

You'll also need to be aware that there are no refunds if you do cancel your subscription. For more details see our Terms and Conditions page.

What types of payment are accepted?

SECURITY

What happens to my Billing Information?

When you sign up to use the Cadimage Tools, you will be asked to enter your billing details. These details are sent to the DPS payment gateway via a secure encryption, and are never stored on our site. Read the DPS Privacy Policy here.
